Project 1

For this project we were tasked with finding an existing multimedia presentation and applying best practices to improve or enhance it's message. The presentation I found is linked below. 

Original Presentation

It had large blocks of text that moved quickly off screen, no narration, and distracting animations. The message - 'Advantages and Disadvantages of Online Learning' - gets lost in the poorly executed delivery. 

So for the re-designed presentation, I incorporated several of Mayer's principles of multimedia, including signaling, spatial contiguity, segmenting, and the multimedia principle. I also added narration to maintain the flow of information for the learners, and ensured the audio was accessible by including closed captioning.
